This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 Associated Press (AP) NFL Defensive Player of the Year award for the 2026-27 NFL season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NFL rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 NFL season is cancelled, postponed after February 28, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Myles Garrett enters the 2026 NFL season as the clear frontrunner for AP Defensive Player of the Year after his record 23-sack campaign in 2025, now anchoring the Rams' pass rush alongside potential reinforcements like Aaron Donald. Yet the market remains tightly contested because Will Anderson Jr., Aidan Hutchinson, Nik Bonitto, and established edge players such as Maxx Crosby and T.J. Watt all bring proven production, favorable team defenses, and strong pressure rates that could surge with early-season momentum. Trader consensus prices reflect this balance, with Garrett's implied probability leading but no single candidate exceeding 25 percent amid roster health variables, divisional matchups, and the award's emphasis on consistent sacks, tackles for loss, and overall disruption across a full 17-game slate.
