Official forecasts from the National Weather Service project Miami highs near 90–91°F on September 9 amid typical late-summer conditions, with 50–70% afternoon thunderstorm chances driven by sea-breeze convergence and high dew points near 78–81°F fueling atmospheric instability. Recent model consensus shows modest heating before convection develops, though easterly flow and timing of storms could allow brief peaks into the low 90s or cap them lower if showers arrive earlier. This uncertainty between 90–91°F and 92–93°F bins underpins the closely matched market-implied odds, as small shifts in moisture or steering winds alter peak readings before official verification.
