This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player records more than 1,964 receiving yards during the 2026-27 NFL regular season, thereby breaking the NFL single-season receiving yards record. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The NFL single-season receiving yards record is 1,964, set by Calvin Johnson in 2012. Matching the record exactly will not be sufficient; a player must exceed 1,964 receiving yards for this market to resolve to "Yes". Only regular season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. A player's total is the total he records across all of his 2026-27 NFL regular season games, including games played for more than one team. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined whether any player exceeded 1,964 receiving yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Elite wide receivers such as Puka Nacua, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Ja'Marr Chase enter the 2026 season with strong quarterback situations and proven target shares, yet historical benchmarks show the Calvin Johnson record of 1,964 yards remains distant, with recent leaders topping out near 1,800. The 17-game schedule provides incremental opportunity compared to the 16-game era, but sustaining the required volume, efficiency, and health across a full campaign has proven rare. Recent form from Smith-Njigba and Nacua, combined with stable offenses in Seattle and Los Angeles, creates realistic paths for 1,700-plus yards while underscoring the barriers to record territory. Late injuries, quarterback changes, or defensive adjustments could shift implied probabilities by altering target distribution or game scripts.
