The 2026 NFL interceptions leader market remains tightly bunched because no quarterback enters the season with a decisive edge in volume, situation, or recent form. Geno Smith, fresh off leading the league in 2025, faces a new Jets offense while second-year passers Cam Ward, Jaxson Dart, and Caleb Williams operate in developing schemes that historically produce elevated turnover rates. Regression candidates such as Matthew Stafford, Dak Prescott, and Baker Mayfield posted unusually low interception totals last year relative to their turnover-worthy throw metrics, positioning them for potential spikes. High-attempt passers like Josh Allen, Brock Purdy, and Trevor Lawrence add further parity, as do injury or competition variables that could alter snap counts. Trader consensus reflects this broad field of plausible outcomes rather than any single frontrunner.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with a higher interception percentage (interceptions thrown divided by pass attempts) during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with fewer passing touchdowns during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other".
If the 2026-27 NFL season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games.
If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in interceptions thrown within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
