The 2026 NFL sacks race remains tightly contested due to exceptional depth among elite edge rushers, each backed by recent double-digit production, strong supporting casts, and favorable defensive schemes. Myles Garrett enters as the consensus frontrunner after his record 23-sack 2025 campaign and mid-offseason trade to the Rams, where a loaded front seven and potential for more favorable game scripts could sustain his pressure rate. Close behind are Aidan Hutchinson, Will Anderson Jr., Trey Hendrickson, Maxx Crosby, Nik Bonitto, and Danielle Hunter, all coming off strong seasons with high quarterback pressures and manageable workloads. Micah Parsons’ recovery from injury and younger talents like Jaelan Phillips add further uncertainty, while variables such as snap counts, blitz rates, opponent quarterback tendencies, and injury risk keep implied probabilities bunched in trader consensus.
