His coalition trails in most polls, projected below the 61-seat majority threshold, with opposition parties such as Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar and Naftali Bennett’s Together gaining ground amid voter dissatisfaction over security lapses since October 2023, inconclusive regional conflicts, and coalition partners’ draft exemptions. The Knesset dissolved in July after a legislative push, setting the fixed election date. Netanyahu’s history of navigating legal cases and coalition pressures has sustained trader assessments that he will remain on the ballot unless health, legal rulings, or internal party shifts intervene before October.
