Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate a stable marine layer pattern will moderate temperatures along the Los Angeles coast on September 17, with morning low clouds and fog giving way to afternoon sunshine under southwest winds of 10-15 mph. This setup typically caps coastal highs in the mid to upper 70s°F, consistent with the market's leading 76-77°F bin at 52% implied probability and the strong 74-75°F support at 31%. Historical September climatology at LAX shows average highs near 76°F under similar onshore flow, with minimal deviation expected absent a significant offshore wind shift. Updated NWS briefings and morning model runs will provide the final resolution data.
