This market will resolve according to which English Premier League manager is fired first during the 2026-27 season. If the listed manager is the first manager to be officially fired, dismissed, or sacked by their respective Premier League club during the 2026-27 season, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If multiple managers are fired on the same calendar day, resolution will be based on the earliest official announcement time. If a manager resigns, mutually agrees to part ways, or departs for another job, this will not count as being fired, and that will not qualify as "Yes" for this market. If no Premier League managers are fired by May 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official club announcements or official Premier League communications. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Early-season results and record managerial turnover have compressed probabilities tightly across the field.** With nine clubs starting 2026/27 under new or recently appointed bosses—including Alvaro Arbeloa at Fulham, Roberto De Zerbi at Tottenham, Oliver Glasner at Nottingham Forest, Xabi Alonso at Chelsea, Andoni Iraola at Liverpool, and Enzo Maresca at Manchester City—any prolonged poor run immediately elevates sack risk. Fulham’s winless opening (0 points from three games) and Tottenham’s goalless streak have already sharpened focus on Arbeloa and De Zerbi, while broader factors such as owner impatience at promoted or mid-table sides, integration challenges for expensive summer signings, and the typical early volatility of a reset campaign leave little separation among the leading candidates. The wisdom of crowds reflected in current pricing therefore shows a genuinely open contest where small differences in results or board tolerance can shift implied probabilities quickly.
