Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” sits at the top of trader sentiment for CMA Music Video of the Year 2026, buoyed by the song’s record-breaking chart run and the video’s high-profile production. Nominated alongside entries from Kacey Musgraves, Stephen Wilson Jr., Cody Johnson, and Chris Stapleton following the September 10 announcement, Langley’s entry benefits from her nine total CMA nods, co-directing credit, and a star-studded cast that includes Miranda Lambert and Luke Grimes. The cinematic Fort Worth-shot clip aligns with the track’s Texas-rooted narrative and broad industry favor, while the November 18 ceremony leaves limited time for late momentum shifts in a category that historically rewards both artistic execution and commercial dominance.
