Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" commands 93% market-implied odds for the Billboard Hot 100 #1 the week of August 22 due to its record-shattering run, including 14–16 nonconsecutive weeks at the summit through mid-2026 and historic marks as the longest-leading non-holiday single by a solo woman. Sustained streaming volume, country radio dominance, and crossover sales have created a durable lead that outpaces typical chart cycles. Trader consensus reflects this entrenched momentum, though realistic upsets remain possible if a major new release—such as Ariana Grande's recent "Petal" tracks or a surprise Taylor Swift surge—generates outsized first-week consumption to dethrone it before tracking closes.
