Stella Lefty’s “Boston” has surged into a dominant position for the Billboard Hot 100’s #2 slot the week of September 5, driven by sustained streaming gains, rising radio airplay, and sales momentum that have kept the pop-country crossover track near the top five in recent weeks. Its viral breakout earlier in 2026, fueled by strong engagement metrics and genre-blending appeal, has created a clear trajectory advantage over competitors. While high implied probability reflects trader consensus on current data, an upset remains possible if late-week streaming spikes from Morgan Wallen’s “Been By Now,” Ella Langley releases, or major drops from Taylor Swift or Ariana Grande shift the final tallies before chart lock.
