Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" leads the 2026 VMA Best Country category with overwhelming trader consensus, fueled by its record-shattering run atop the Billboard Hot 100—tying for the longest non-holiday No. 1 ever—and strong cross-genre momentum that also earned Song of the Year and multiple CMA nods. The cinematic video, co-directed by Langley and featuring high-profile cameos, has sustained visibility ahead of the September 27 ceremony at the Peacock Theater. Nominees like Kacey Musgraves' "Dry Spell," Lainey Wilson's "Somewhere Over Laredo," and entries from Luke Combs, Shaboozey, Stella Lefty, and Tucker Wetmore trail significantly, reflecting limited recent chart impact or precursor buzz compared to Langley's dominant campaign. As a fan-voted award, the market-implied odds capture trader expectations around sustained streaming and cultural resonance in a year of exceptional country crossover success.
