Recent rainfall and northerly winds have cooled Beijing sharply, with highs falling to around 22–23°C on September 8 amid lingering cloud cover. Clearing skies and lighter winds on September 9 are expected to allow greater solar heating, supporting a rebound toward 25–26°C according to consensus from official and numerical forecasts. This post-frontal warming under partly cloudy conditions favors 26°C as the most likely daily maximum, though modest model spread around boundary-layer mixing and residual moisture keeps 25°C and 27°C viable alternatives in the market. Updated guidance from the Beijing Meteorological Bureau and short-range models will refine these odds ahead of the September 9 close.
