Mercedes leads the 2026 constructors’ championship by a wide margin after 13 rounds, powered by its highly competitive power unit that has delivered the majority of race laps led and multiple victories, including a recent Monza 1-2. Kimi Antonelli and George Russell have combined for consistent podiums and wins, outscoring Ferrari and McLaren by substantial points under the new regulations that emphasize electric deployment alongside the internal combustion engine. Rivals trail significantly, with Ferrari second but unable to close the gap despite strong individual results. Trader consensus aligns with this performance edge, though mechanical reliability problems, strategic errors, or unexpected rival upgrades in the remaining rounds could still narrow the standings.
