Mercedes leads the 2026 Formula 1 constructors' championship with a substantial points advantage after the opening rounds under revised regulations that emphasize power unit efficiency and energy management. The team's consistent race wins and strong qualifying pace, driven by strong performances from its lineup, have translated into overwhelming trader consensus reflected in the current implied probabilities. Ferrari and McLaren sit well behind in the standings, with limited recent momentum to close the gap despite competitive showings in select events. Red Bull and the rest of the field trail further, facing challenges in adapting to the new technical rules that have favored Mercedes' package so far this season. This positioning leaves room for shifts if rivals improve development pace or if mechanical issues arise in the remaining calendar.
