Rod Wave’s *Don’t Look Down*, released August 28 via Alamo Records, drives the market’s strong consensus around an 81.5% implied probability for the Billboard 200 chart dated September 12. The project marks the Florida artist’s seventh studio album and follows a pattern of consistent Top 3 debuts, with *Last Lap* (2024) opening at No. 2; its 24-track digital edition and arena tour launch on September 12 supply sustained streaming and fan engagement in the tracking week. Older catalog titles such as Dolly Parton’s *Ultimate Dolly Parton* compilation sit at just 9%, while recent releases including Ella Langley’s *Dandelion*, Olivia Rodrigo’s *You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love*, Stray Kids’ *THIS & THAT*, and Ariana Grande’s *Petal* show declining units and face limited new promotional catalysts. Traders appear to view the absence of competing major debuts in early September as reinforcing Rod Wave’s frontrunner status.
