Recent polls ahead of the September 20 Berlin Abgeordnetenhaus election show a fragmented field, with Die Linke often leading at 19–22%, followed closely by the CDU and AfD at 17–20%, the Grüne at 16–17%, and the SPD at 12–15%. This clustering around the middle rankings creates substantial uncertainty over fourth place. The Grüne have held steady near that spot in most surveys, while the SPD trails and smaller parties such as the FDP and BSW remain below the 5% threshold. Trader consensus reflects this volatility, pricing several mid-tier outcomes near 50% amid narrow margins and the final campaign phase. Key variables include the impact of the CDU’s mid-campaign candidate change to Stefan Evers, AfD gains without coalition prospects, and any late shifts in turnout or voter movement among the top five contenders that could reorder the standings.
