Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” commands a 91% market-implied probability for the #2 Spotify song in the week of September 18 because the track continues to post elite weekly streams—over 22 million globally in recent tallies—while holding steady near the top of daily and weekly charts. Its delayed breakout, fueled by TikTok virality and subsequent Columbia radio push earlier in 2026, has produced unusual longevity for a 2024 release, with consistent U.S. and global traction that outpaces most competitors. Newer or resurgent tracks such as BbY WOW and Loser sit close in volume but lack the same sustained trajectory. An upset would require one of those songs or a surprise late-week release to post a decisive streaming spike that displaces “Earrings” from its current #2 slot before the chart locks.
