The 2026 NFL season opens with widespread parity across offenses, keeping the team touchdowns leader market tightly bunched among multiple contenders and a large "other" category. No single squad has separated itself entering Week 1, as strong quarterback play, versatile skill-position groups, and innovative schemes are distributed league-wide rather than concentrated in a few elite units. Factors such as schedule strength, injury resilience, and early-season momentum will likely determine the leader, with historical data showing that top-scoring teams often emerge from unexpected sources due to breakout performances or favorable matchups. Trader consensus reflects this uncertainty, pricing a wide field instead of heavy favorites.
