Trey McBride enters the 2026 NFL season coming off a record-setting 2025 campaign in which he posted 126 receptions for 1,239 yards and 11 touchdowns, establishing the NFL single-season mark for tight ends while becoming the first at the position with consecutive 100-catch years. The Arizona Cardinals' high-volume passing attack under prior circumstances fueled that output, but 2026 brings a new head coach in Mike LaFleur, offensive scheme adjustments, and a quarterback room led by Jacoby Brissett. Consensus projections place McBride in the 102-109 reception range amid added target competition from Marvin Harrison Jr. and rookie running back Jeremiyah Love, plus the likelihood of fewer trailing-game opportunities if the defense improves. McBride's durability, central role in the passing game, and Brissett's prior tendency to favor tight ends remain supportive factors for sustained volume.
