Nominations for the 60th CMA Awards, announced September 10, established a five-way field for Vocal Duo of the Year that includes returning veterans Brooks & Dunn alongside Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay, and newer acts Muscadine Bloodline and Thelma & James. Trader consensus reflects Brooks & Dunn’s recent category win and their upcoming Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, yet prices remain compressed because the category has historically favored established names while newer duos gain traction through streaming and touring momentum. With the November 18 ceremony still two months away, guild and industry sentiment plus any late-year releases or tours could shift positioning before final voting closes.
