Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” commands the strongest trader consensus for the #2 U.S. Spotify song of 2026 thanks to its unexpected 2026 resurgence. The 2024 mixtape track went viral on TikTok, prompting a Columbia radio push and multiple daily U.S. Spotify #1s in June, with sustained high-volume streams into September that place it near the top of current daily and weekly tallies. Its retro-infused production and cumulative streaming totals give it a measurable edge over newer or less consistent contenders. Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” sits as the clearest alternative at lower implied odds, while most other listed tracks show minimal momentum or historical precedent for finishing in the year-end top two. Remaining months of streaming data and any late promotional surges remain the key variables.
