Rod Wave’s *Don’t Look Down*, released August 28, anchors trader sentiment at 81.5% implied probability for the Billboard 200 dated September 12. The project follows his pattern of strong R&B/hip-hop debuts and sustained streaming, with early tracking reflecting robust first-week consumption that typically carries into week two. Competing titles, including recent leaders like Stray Kids’ *THIS & THAT* and Ariana Grande’s *Petal*, show steep second-week declines, while lower-odds options such as Dolly Parton’s *Ultimate Dolly Parton* or Ella Langley’s *Dandelion* lack comparable new-release momentum. No major competing albums are slated for early September, leaving Rod Wave’s fan-driven sales and streaming trajectory as the dominant factor ahead of the chart lock.
