This market will resolve in favor of the player on a Big 12 Conference team that finishes the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season with the most rushing touchdowns among all Big 12 players. A player's conference is the football conference affiliation of his team for the 2026 season as recognized by the NCAA. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more rushing yards during the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher average of rushing yards per attempt during the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If the 2026 NCAA FBS season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NCAA FBS statistics for completed games. If the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 3, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which Big 12 player led the conference in rushing touchdowns within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NCAA (https://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Big 12’s 2026 rushing touchdown race remains wide open after one week of play, with no player holding a meaningful edge in implied probability. Depth across the conference drives the tight market: returning standouts such as BYU’s LJ Martin (12 rushing TDs in 2025 as Offensive Player of the Year), Texas Tech’s Cameron Dickey (league-high 14), Utah’s Wayshawn Parker, and transfers including West Virginia’s Cam Cook and Oklahoma State’s Caleb Hawkins all enter with proven production and favorable offensive contexts. Additional contenders like TCU’s Jeremy Payne, Baylor’s Dawson Pendergrass (healthy after missing 2025), Kansas State’s Joe Jackson, and several unproven but high-upside backs create further dispersion. Early-season factors including committee backfields, quarterback distribution, offensive line health, and schedule strength have yet to separate the field, leaving trader consensus reflecting broad parity rather than any single frontrunner.
