Kyle Schwarber holds the MLB home run lead with 37 through mid-August, positioning him as the trader favorite at 36% implied probability due to his consistent power output for the Phillies and status as the first player to reach 30 homers this season. Yordan Alvarez trails closely at 36 homers with a league-leading .321 average and 1.058 OPS for the Astros, supporting his 27.4% share amid a strong late surge. Junior Caminero sits at 35 for the Rays while Matt Olson has reached 36 with the Braves, reflecting their competitive paces. Remaining contenders trail further behind, with limited recent momentum or roster developments shifting the consensus from these front-runners.
