Rockstar Games and parent Take-Two Interactive officially confirmed the Grand Theft Auto VI standard edition price at $79.99 for the November 19, 2026 PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S launch, with pre-orders opening June 25. This followed months of speculation around premium pricing above $100, which Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick had already downplayed in favor of the conventional $70–$80 range amid competitive AAA console dynamics. The move aligns with recent industry trends for major titles while enabling higher-tier Ultimate editions near $99.99 with added content. Traders are now focused on whether any last-minute regional adjustments or bundle variations emerge before the November street date, though the core U.S. MSRP appears locked in.
