Apple shares have traded near $310 following mixed sessions this week, with the August 24 close at $310.34 reflecting modest gains amid broader tech volatility. Recent layoffs in AI and VR teams, alongside the September 1 CEO transition to John Ternus, have focused attention on cost discipline and AI execution priorities. Strong fiscal Q3 results—$109.4 billion revenue and $2.02 EPS—continue to underpin support, though memory-cost pressures and regulatory shifts in Europe add uncertainty. Traders are monitoring Treasury yields, upcoming September product catalysts, and sector rotation for directional cues into the session close.
