Both the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers enter the 2026 NFL season with notable offseason transitions that have kept implied probabilities for their two-game series tightly balanced at even levels. The Raiders hired Klint Kubiak as head coach and installed a new offensive coordinator and defensive staff after firing Pete Carroll, while the Chargers brought in Mike McDaniel as offensive coordinator under Jim Harbaugh to refine their attack. These scheme changes, combined with roster adjustments and uncertain quarterback stability in the AFC West rivalry, have left traders viewing the matchup as highly competitive, with limited historical edges or recent form to shift consensus away from parity.
