The 2026-27 Premier League last-place market remains tightly bunched because the three promoted sides—Hull City, Coventry City, and Ipswich Town—enter with limited Premier League experience and face immediate tests against established defenses. Early matchweek results have kept probabilities fluid: Hull has collected points and clean sheets in a strong start that has slightly eased its relegation pressure, while Coventry sits winless with a negative goal difference. Ipswich occupies an intermediate position. Among longer-established clubs, Fulham, Crystal Palace, and others show early vulnerabilities in fixtures and squad depth that could still produce a surprise bottom finish. Trader consensus therefore spreads implied probability across these sides rather than concentrating on any single candidate, reflecting the narrow margins typical of the opening weeks when form, injuries, and schedule difficulty can shift standings rapidly.

If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish in last place in the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season (e.g., they are mathematically guaranteed to finish above 20th), this market will resolve to "No".
In the event of a tie for last place, this market will resolve based on the club officially recognized by the Premier League as finishing in 20th place. If multiple clubs are officially recognized as finishing in last place, this market will resolve to the club whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season is cancelled, postponed after June 13, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no last-place club declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
