Liga MX's 2026-27 Apertura features a tightly contested assists race because multiple creative midfielders and wingers operate in high-possession sides with overlapping chance-creation roles. Early returns show Lucas Ocampos, Juan Brunetta, and José Paradela among the leaders through set-piece delivery, through-ball volume, and link-up play, while Alexis Vega and emerging options like Luca Orellano benefit from favorable fixtures and attacking systems. Depth across clubs, variable starting lineups, and the league's emphasis on fluid attacking patterns keep implied probabilities bunched, as any single player faces competition from teammates and opponents in similar service-oriented positions.
