Rising memory and storage component costs, driven by surging AI data center demand, represent the main pressure on iPhone 18 Pro pricing as Apple prepares its September launch. The iPhone 17 Pro started at $1,099, but analysts from The Wall Street Journal, IDC, and Jeff Pu estimate a $50–$300 increase is possible, with some projecting a $1,299–$1,399 starting point to preserve margins amid DRAM and NAND price spikes. Apple is reportedly negotiating aggressively and trimming other expenses to limit or avoid hikes, while Android flagships face similar upward pressure. The upcoming keynote, likely September 8 or 9, will confirm final pricing and any new camera or chip features that could influence the outcome.

This market will resolve based on the pre-tax launch price in USD of the standard edition of the iPhone 18 Pro as listed on the official Apple Store website or Apple’s retail pricing in the United States on the first official day of its release.

If the iPhone 18 Pro is not released by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No".
The primary resolution source for this market will be the official Apple Store (online or retail pricing), however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
