Apple faces upward pressure on iPhone 18 Pro pricing from sharply higher DRAM and NAND costs driven by AI demand, with analysts estimating component inflation that could add $150–$270 to bill-of-materials expenses compared with the iPhone 17 Pro’s $1,099 starting price. Recent reports indicate Apple is countering this through supply-chain leverage, internal modem development, and other cost reductions, leading some analysts to project unchanged or only modestly higher U.S. pricing near $1,099–$1,199. The September 8–9 launch event will confirm final figures, with traders watching for standardized pricing tiers and any differentiation from the higher-cost foldable model.

This market will resolve based on the pre-tax launch price in USD of the standard edition of the iPhone 18 Pro as listed on the official Apple Store website or Apple’s retail pricing in the United States on the first official day of its release.

If the iPhone 18 Pro is not released by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No".
The primary resolution source for this market will be the official Apple Store (online or retail pricing), however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
