This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Ben Gurion International Airport in degrees Celsius on 9 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=LLBG To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Trader sentiment for Tel Aviv’s highest temperature on August 9 centers on 33°C (65.5% implied probability) and 32°C (25%), reflecting consensus from numerical weather models and seasonal climatology.** August averages for the coastal plain sit near 31–32°C, moderated by Mediterranean sea breezes that limit daytime maxima despite strong solar insolation. Current forecasts from sources including AccuWeather and timeanddate project a high of 32°C under mostly clear, stable conditions with light winds and no significant synoptic forcing such as a heat dome or Saharan intrusion. Minor spread in model guidance on the timing of peak heating and subtle wind shifts allows limited upside to 34°C, while downside risk to 31°C or below remains slim given the absence of stronger onshore flow or cloud cover. Historical analogs and recent observational trends reinforce this tight distribution, with traders assigning negligible odds to extremes outside 31–34°C. Updated model runs and official Israel Meteorological Service briefings ahead of the day’s maximum will provide the next key data points for resolution.
