Jannik Sinner's dominant hard-court record and recent Wimbledon title defense anchor his 53.5% implied probability as the 2026 US Open favorite, reflecting traders' assessment of his elite consistency and surface suitability heading into the North American swing. Carlos Alcaraz sits at 22% amid ongoing wrist injury recovery that has limited his match play since Wimbledon, creating uncertainty around his readiness despite strong early-season results including the Australian Open. Lower-priced contenders such as Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic trail due to less reliable recent hard-court performances and Sinner's head-to-head edge, while emerging players like Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton register minimal market share given limited major pedigree on the surface.
