This market will resolve to "Yes" if the team winning 1st place at the Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026, currently scheduled for October 3 to October 17, 2026, is a Western team. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A Western team is a team that qualified for the tournament through the LEC (Europe / EMEA), the LCS (North America), or the CBLOL (Brazil). Teams that qualified through the LCK (South Korea), the LPL (China), or the LCP (Asia-Pacific) are not Western teams. If the winner of the Demacia Cup Global Invitational 2026 is not determined by October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the tournament is canceled or postponed past that date, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizers, TJ Sports and Huya. However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/leagueoflegends/Demacia_Cup_Global_Invitational/2026) may also be used.**Eastern regional depth and historical dominance drive the 60% implied probability on “No.”** LPL and LCK each send three mid-table teams (typically 5th–7th seeds) that benefit from deeper talent pools, superior macro execution, and individual mechanics compared with LEC and LCS squads (4th–5th seeds). Western teams have posted low win rates against Eastern opponents in recent international events such as MSI 2026, while the hybrid format’s offline knockout stage in Beijing adds travel and home-environment disadvantages. These structural mismatches, rather than any single roster change or injury report, underpin trader consensus that an LPL or LCK side remains the most probable champion in the Bo5 single-elimination bracket.
