Recent Swedish opinion polls ahead of the September 13 parliamentary election show the Social Democrats maintaining a clear lead near 30-31%, followed by the Sweden Democrats around 19-20% and the Moderate Party at 17-18%, with other parties trailing further behind. This consistent ordering in multiple surveys from institutes including Novus, Verian, and Demoskop has positioned the Moderates as the frontrunner for third place in trader assessments. The Sweden Democrats' modest polling edge over the Moderates accounts for their secondary probability, while the Liberals' persistent weakness below the 4% threshold and stable support levels for smaller parties like the Greens and Left have kept their third-place odds negligible. The campaign's focus on economic pressures and bloc competition has not produced shifts large enough to alter this hierarchy in recent weeks.
