Morocco’s September 23, 2026, legislative elections remain highly competitive, with the ruling RNI-led coalition facing broad voter dissatisfaction over economic conditions and governance. Current parliamentary seat distribution favors RNI and PAM, yet recent Interior Ministry consultations with all parties on electoral rules and registration deadlines underscore ongoing uncertainty in coalition dynamics and voter mobilization. Public distrust reported in 2026 polling has kept probabilities clustered, as opposition parties like Istiqlal reposition while smaller groups show limited traction. Late-campaign developments such as candidate finalization after the September 10 start, any shifts in turnout patterns across key regions, or last-minute alignments could widen gaps among frontrunners before election night.
