Recent forecasts for Manila on September 14 indicate highs near 30–32°C amid scattered thunderstorms, high humidity near 80%, and moderate westerly winds, consistent with the peak rainy season when frequent cloud cover and precipitation limit solar heating. Historical September averages hover around 30–32°C, with model consensus from sources like GFS and ECMWF showing limited intensification potential due to persistent moisture and lack of clear-sky conditions that could push readings to 34°C or higher. These factors explain the market's concentration on 32°C and 33°C outcomes, as traders weigh typical monsoon suppression against any brief afternoon clearing that might allow marginal warming. Updated model runs and official Philippine weather briefings will refine the outlook before resolution.
