Chelsea's self-imposed August 14 deadline for bids meeting their £120 million valuation of Enzo Fernández passed without any offers, particularly from Manchester City, leading traders to price staying at Stamford Bridge as the clear favorite. The Argentine midfielder, a key Premier League asset under Enzo Maresca, now faces limited immediate exit routes despite prior speculation tied to replacing Rodri or other top clubs. Manchester City retains some residual interest according to reports, supporting their secondary position, while distant contenders such as Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Atlético Madrid, and Barcelona show negligible activity or valuation alignment. This recent transfer-window closure has shifted implied probabilities sharply toward retention for the 2026-27 season.
