This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 Big 12 Championship Game, determining the champion of the Big 12 Conference for the 2026 college football season, currently scheduled for December 4, 2026. If this championship is postponed after December 18, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple teams are declared co-champions, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Big 12 Conference (https://big12sports.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Big 12's 2026 title race reflects pronounced parity, with deep rosters, portal additions, and coaching transitions leveling the field across 16 programs. Preseason all-conference honors highlight Texas Tech's defensive depth alongside BYU's offensive standouts, yet Utah, Houston, Oklahoma State, and Arizona State feature comparable talent infusions and schedule advantages that limit separation. Recent media polls and projections consistently place several squads within a narrow projected win range, underscoring how minor injuries, late transfers, or conference scheduling quirks can shift outcomes. This balance sustains trader consensus around clustered implied probabilities rather than a dominant frontrunner.
