The MLB team home run race remains tightly contested entering the final month, with the Chicago Cubs holding a narrow lead in total homers over the New York Yankees and Washington Nationals. Recent power surges from Cubs contributors like Pete Crow-Armstrong have helped maintain their edge, while the Yankees' lineup depth and the Nationals' consistent output keep pressure on the top spot. Multiple other clubs sit within striking distance on aggregate totals, reflecting balanced offensive production across the league and limited separation in late-season form. Trader consensus assigns the highest implied probabilities to these frontrunners, underscoring how small differences in remaining games and individual performances could still shift the outcome before season's end.
