A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Several experienced Liga MX goalkeepers enter the 2026-27 campaign with comparable profiles that keep the most clean sheets market tightly bunched.** Andrés Sánchez at Atlético de San Luis holds a slight edge in trader consensus thanks to his recent form, strong shot-stopping in prior seasons, and a team that has shown defensive organization. Ezequiel Unsain at Necaxa and Óscar García at León sit close behind, supported by consistent starting roles and clubs capable of grinding out shutouts over the long Apertura and Clausura schedule. Other contenders like Kevin Mier (Cruz Azul), Luis Cárdenas (Monterrey), and veterans such as Keylor Navas, Nahuel Guzmán, and Camilo Vargas benefit from established reputations, varying team strengths, and the league’s typical parity. Early 2026 Apertura results show no dominant defensive unit yet, with multiple keepers already posting clean sheets while injuries, rotations, and fixture difficulty remain key variables that can quickly shift the race.
