Recent forecast model runs from the National Weather Service and private providers show variable marine layer depth and onshore flow strength for September 9 in San Francisco, creating tight uncertainty around peak daytime heating at official stations. This underpins the market's clustered implied probabilities near 90–93°F, with traders assigning roughly 46% combined odds to those two bins as the most likely resolution range. Historical September baselines near 70–71°F provide context, yet recent model consensus on reduced cloud cover and lighter winds supports the elevated trader sentiment. Updated NWS point forecasts and any late adjustments to boundary-layer conditions ahead of tomorrow's maximum will likely drive the final outcome.
