This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the champion of the 2. Bundesliga for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of 2. Bundesliga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of 2. Bundesliga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the 2. Bundesliga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 2. Bundesliga campaign opens with an unusually wide field of contenders, as multiple sides freshly relegated from the Bundesliga—including VfL Wolfsburg, FC St. Pauli, and 1. FC Heidenheim—join established second-division clubs such as Hertha BSC, Hannover 96, 1. FC Nürnberg, and Karlsruher SC. Early matchday results have produced mixed outcomes among these teams, underscoring parity in squad depth, recent form, and managerial adjustments following the summer transfer window. With no single club demonstrating clear dominance in pre-season or opening fixtures, trader consensus prices the promotion race tightly bunched, reflecting the league’s typical volatility where home/away splits, injury reports, and fixture congestion can rapidly shift standings. Historical patterns of late surges or collapses further support the even distribution across the listed outcomes.
