This market will resolve to "Yes" if Valve officially releases Deadlock by December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." For the purposes of this market, "officially released" is defined as Deadlock being made publicly available to all players without requiring an invite, key, or any other form of restricted access on at least one platform. A transition to open Early Access on Steam qualifies as an official release, provided it is accessible to the general public without restrictions. An invite-only playtest, closed beta, or limited technical test does not qualify, regardless of player count or media coverage. For the purpose of this market, "Valve" refers to Valve Corporation, the developer and publisher of Deadlock. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve and the Deadlock Steam page (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1422450/Deadlock/). However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Valve’s continued iteration on Deadlock, including the July 2026 ranked mode launch and steady patches through a still-invite-only early development build, underpins the slim 54% market-implied odds for an official release before 2027. The game remains listed on Steam as “to be announced” with temporary assets and limited access, consistent with Valve’s deliberate pace across prior titles. A major content update slated for late September could accelerate momentum if it signals broader testing or an open beta, yet historical patterns and the absence of any firm timeline keep the contest tight. Traders appear to weigh active refinement and a sizable player base against the risk that full launch slips into 2027.
