This market will resolve according to the official UFC Light Heavyweight division champion on December 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Only official UFC division champions will count. Interim champions will not count. If the relevant belt is vacant at this market’s check time, or there is otherwise no champion in the specified division, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Carlos Ulberg captured the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight title with a first-round knockout of Jiri Prochazka at UFC 327 in April 2026, extending his win streak to ten and establishing himself as the division's clear leader in the eyes of traders. With Alex Pereira having vacated the belt after reclaiming it from Magomed Ankalaev in 2025 and shifting focus toward heavyweight opportunities, Ulberg's recent dominance and the lack of immediate high-profile challengers have driven the implied probability above 90 percent for him remaining champion through year-end. Ankalaev and Pereira sit at single-digit odds as the nearest alternatives, reflecting their prior title experience but also recent setbacks and scheduling uncertainties. A long layoff for Ulberg, potential surgery delaying any defense into 2027, or an unexpected title fight loss in the final months could still shift outcomes, though the compressed timeline to December 31 limits realistic disruption windows.
