This market will resolve to the player who wins the Calder Memorial Trophy for the 2026-27 NHL season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NHL rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 NHL season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Calder Trophy race remains wide open entering the NHL season, with trader consensus reflecting a deep 2026 draft class and uncertain rookie deployments across multiple contenders. Gavin McKenna, the No. 1 overall pick by Toronto, leads at 26.5% implied probability due to his elite playmaking, vision, and expected top-six/PP1 role alongside stars like Auston Matthews and William Nylander, though physical adjustment concerns persist. Ivar Stenberg sits at 10% as the more polished prospect with SHL experience and strong two-way traits, potentially benefiting from time with Macklin Celebrini in San Jose. Porter Martone, Cole Hutson, and Anton Frondell round out the top tier, each with prior pro exposure or favorable team contexts that could boost point totals. A loaded field of defensemen and forwards, combined with variables like ice time, linemates, and early-season form, keeps implied probabilities bunched and limits any single player’s dominance.
