Mohamed Salah’s impending free-agent status after Liverpool mutually agreed to end his contract a year early has positioned the Saudi Pro League as the clear frontrunner in trader pricing. Heavy financial packages from PIF-backed clubs such as Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, combined with repeated public statements of confidence and reported near-agreements, have driven that outcome well ahead of alternatives. Serie A sits second on the back of confirmed interest from AC Milan and Roma plus Salah’s prior experience at Roma and Fiorentina, offering a competitive European landing spot without the same wage ceiling. MLS, Süper Lig, and other leagues trail further behind, reflecting scattered but lower-profile links and the Egyptian forward’s preference for high-profile environments at age 34. Recent weeks have seen no major shifts away from the Saudi lead, though ongoing talks and potential conditions in any deal keep secondary options live.
