A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Suwon Samsung Bluewings lead the 2026 K League 2 table with 44 points from 22 matches, ahead of Seoul E-Land (41) and Suwon FC (40), positioning them as the strongest candidate for automatic promotion under the season’s rules. Daegu FC sits fourth with 39 points after relegation the prior year and has retained key attackers while maintaining solid goal difference. The expanded playoff structure sends third through sixth into a four-team knockout for the final promotion spot, tightening the race among Busan IPark, Hwaseong FC, and the top sides. With roughly half the schedule remaining, recent form, head-to-head results, and any late-season squad changes will shape the final standings and playoff outcomes.
