The Russian side advanced through a tough bracket that included a quarterfinal win over Vitality—snapping a prior losing streak—and a semifinal sweep of Legacy, showcasing strong map pool control and clutch play on maps like Anubis and Nuke. Recent results, including prior titles and consistent top rankings, reinforced their dominance heading into the $2 million Paris event. Scenarios that could have shifted odds include major roster disruptions, prolonged slumps against rising teams like FUT, or unexpected early exits in single-elimination playoffs, though none materialized in this cycle.
