The Huns Esports hold a clear edge entering this BO3 based on superior regional form and head-to-head history. The Mongolian squad advanced from the IEM Beijing 2026 Asia Open Qualifier with strong showings against Nas and others, while maintaining competitive results in ESL Challenger League Asia and GGMedia events despite some recent setbacks. They previously defeated DEPO 3-0 in the PGL Astana 2026 Asia Closed Qualifier, leveraging map control and individual performances from players like nin9, controlez, and Annihilation. DEPO, an Uzbek side, has posted solid lower-tier wins in FRAG and BRO events but trails in overall VRS ranking and consistency against top Asian opposition. Roster stability and map pool familiarity favor The Huns in this playoff matchup.
